Dushanbe. 31 August. “Asia Plus” — National Bank of Tajikistan (NBT) offers the China Development Bank to participate in investing of infrastructure projects in Tajikistan, especially in the energy projects.

This proposal was announced at the end of the last week at a meeting of the Deputy Chairman of the National Bank of Tajikistan Umeda Latipov with the working group of the Development Bank of China, headed by Feng Zhe Su, reports the press service of the NBT.

Latipov noted that the National Bank will assist the Bank of China to find advantageous projects for the investment.

During the meeting were discussed the issues of bilateral cooperation, including the development of a draft memorandum of cooperation between the NBT and the China Development Bank.

Chinese bankers have expressed their willingness to further cooperation with Tajikistan and noted that at the end of September a delegation from the China Development Bank will visit Tajikistan.

In the course of this visit a draft memorandum of cooperation between the National Bank of Tajikistan and China Development Bank will be offered.
