DUSHANBE, April 10, Asia-Plus  — Judge Fayzullo Abdulloyev representing Tajikistan in the CIS Economic Court has been elected to head the CIS Economic Court.  

Davlat Nazriyev, the head of information department within the Tajik MFA, told Asia-plus that a decision on electing Abdulloyev as chairman of the CIS Economic Court was made on April 8 by means of secret ballot at the court’s organizational meeting.  

The Majlisi Milli (Tajikistan’s upper chamber of parliament) elected Abdulloyev to represent Tajikistan in the CIS Economic Court at its session in February 2004.
