DUSHANBE, April 8, Asia-Plus  — On Monday April 7, President Emomali Rahmon heard report of the Sughd governor Qohir Rasoulzoda on the region’s economic results in the first quarter of this year and set specific tasks on removing existing shortcomings, presidential press service said.  

The talks mainly focused on a progress of the spring sowing campaign in the province.  A special attention was paid implementation of instructions the president had given to the Sughd regional and district administrators during his latest visit to Sughd.  

The Sughd governor was charged to organize three-shift operation of industrial enterprises in the region.  

Rahmon also ordered to take proper care of veterans of war and labor on occasion of the Victory Day.  

The head of state also urged to take measures to enhance education and health sectors in the province.
