DUSHANBE, December 24, 2015, Asia-Plus /Avaz Yuldoshev/ – In a report released at a regular sitting of Majlisi Namoyandagon (Tajikistan’s lower house of parliament), Mirzo Ibrohim, the head of Barqi Tojik power holding (Tajik electricity supplier), noted on December 24 that Tajikistan supplied 1.137 billion kWh of electricity to Afghanistan during the last spring-summer period.
According to him, Tajikistan also supplied 159.1 million kWh of electricity Kyrgyzstan over the report period.
The cost of one kWh of Tajik electricity for Afghanistan was 3.7 cents and the cost of one kWh of Tajik electricity for Kyrgyzstan was 2.5 cents, Barqi Tojik top manager noted.
