500 tons of Kazakh diesel fuel arrive in Tajikistan

DUSHANBE, March 28, Asia-Plus  — Kazakhstan is continuing t provide humanitarian aid to Tajikistan which was seriously affected by unusually cold weather and sever electricity shortages this winter.

According to the Kazakh Embassy in Dushanbe, tank cars loaded with totaling 500 tons of diesel fuel arrived in Dushanbe on March 27.  Besides, 500 tons of fuel oil and 1,000 tons of grain will be delivered to Tajikistan in the near future, the source at the Kazakh Embassy said.  

We will recall that the first train with humanitarian aid from Kazakhstan arrived in Tajikistan in early March.  Three cars loaded with some 60 tons of tinned food and some 30 tons of warm clothes arrived in Dushanbe that time.
