KHUJAND, February 16, 2016, Asia-Plus – Isfara Mayor Dilshod Rasoulzoda today introduced new director-general of the Isfara chemical plant to staff.

According to the Sughd regional administration press center, Sodiqjon Rustami was born in the village of Chorkhuh in 1964.

 He graduated from the Frunze Polytechnic Institute, which is now known as the Kyrgyz State Technical University, in 1987.

From 2003 to 2007, Rustami served as first deputy mayor of Isfara, and from 2008 to 2014, he headed the Sughd energy and industry department.

From March 2014 to January 2016, Rustami reportedly served as first deputy mayor of Chkalovsk.
