More than 117 kilograms burnt in Sughd

DUSHANBE, February 25, 2016, Asia-Plus — The Drug Control Agency (DCA)’s office in the northern province of Sughd has burnt 117.244 kilograms of narcotics, according to the DCA press center.

A totaled included 81.391 kilograms of hashish, 30.66 kilograms of heroin and 1.905 kilograms of cannabis.  The drugs were reportedly confiscated in the course of 2014-2015.

The drugs were burnt n a special narcotic-burning incinerator in the presence of representatives of the DCA’s office in Sughd, Sughd prosecutor’s office, Khujand city court and media.
