DUSHANBE, March 20, Asia-Plus  — A job fair held by the Labor Exchange at the Committee for Youth, Sports and Tourism Affairs in Dushanbe yesterday offered more than 400 vacancies in different regions of the Russian Federation.

The Labor Exchange director Yuldosh Eshov noted that the fair had been held to assist persons seeking seasonal work in Russia.

The fair was staged in cooperation with the migration service at the Ministry of Interior (MoI) and eight organizations for external migration such as Tojikkor, Zolotoy Vek, Vostok-Far, Aviatour and Zarnisor offered vacancies.

In all, more than 1,000 people took part at the fair and some 400 people, primarily builders, were competitively selected from them for working in Russia, the director said.

Besides, the labor exchange is also working on employment of young people from the Bobojonghafruvo and Tursunzoda districts.  The similar fair will be organized for Khatlon youth in Qurghon Teppa on March 28, according to Eshov.

He further added that representatives from the labor exchange will go to Russia’s cities of Krasnodar, Saratov, Volgograd and Sochi tomorrow for concluding contracts with employers.
