President orders to create 500 ha of new vineyards in Tursunzoda

DUSHANBE, March 10, Asia-Plus  — On Monday March 10, President Emomali Rahmon held a meeting with participation of Agriculture Minister Qosim Qosimov, Land Reclamation and Water Resources Minister Said Yoqubzod, Dushanbe Mayor Mahmadsaid Ubaidulloyev as well as chairmen of Vahdat (Anvar Vaysiddin), Rudaki (Mansour Qodirov) and Tursunzoda (Barakatullo Ahmadov) districts to discuss a progress of implementation of instructions on improvement cities and districts and planting of trees shrubs in them, according to presidential press service.  

Speaking at the meeting, the head of state ordered to speed up work on preparations for the spring sowing campaign, providing farming units with agricultural machines, efficiently using irrigation facilities and rehabilitating existing gardens and vineyards and intensify the improvement work.  

The president, in particular, ordered to create 500 hectares of new vineyards in the Tursunzoda district this year.
