The Ulema Council of Tajikistan announced the exact date of the Kurban Bayram holiday

This day will be a holiday in the country.

The traditional Muslim holiday – Kurban Bayram holiday (feast of the sacrifice) – the residents of Tajikistan, as well as the other Muslim countries, will celebrate on the 12^th of September.

As reported the Board of Ulema of the Islamic center of Tajikistan, the decision was made on September 3 on the basis of calculation and according to the lunar calendar in cooperation of the Ulema Council with the Institute of astrophysics.
