Tajik President Emomali Rahmon introduced a number of staff changes at a June 1 meeting reviewing issues related to providing Dushanbe’s markets with basic food products, carrying out sowing campaign and making preparations for autumn-winter season.
According to the Tajik president’s official website, chief prosecutors in the districts of Vanj (Gorno Badakhshan Autonomous Region), Danghara, Farkhor Rumi (districts in Khatlon province) and Varzob (district subordinate to the center) as well as in the cities of Sarband (Khatlon province) and Istaravshan (Sughd province) have been replaced.
Deputy prosecutor of Dushanbe and deputy transportation prosecutor for Sughd province have also been replaced.
Besides, several heads of departments of the Drug Control Agency under the President of Tajikistan have been replaced.
By government’s decrees deputy head of Tojikstandart (agency for standardization, certification, metrology and trade inspection) and director general of Qurghon Teppa International Airport have been replaced.
