Safed-Dara Limited Liability Company, which according to some sources is owned by president’s son-in-law Shamsullo Sohibov, will build a new rest center in the Varzob district.
According to the Tajik president’s official website, the new rest house, called “Duoi Modar” (Blessing of Mother), will be built not far from the Varzob Reservoir, a small lake in the Varzob Valley is a half-hour drive north of Dushanbe.
The estimated budget for construction of the new rest center is reportedly 10 million somoni (equivalent to more than 1.1 million U.S. dollars).

Emomali Rahmon and his son Rustam Emomali, who is Mayor of Dushanbe, visited the site for construction of the “Duoi Modar” rest center on November 9.
The project provides for construction of a 120-room hotel within the center compound.
