DUSAHNBE, September 28, Asia-Plus — Officers from the Farkhor police directorate seized a large amount of drugs Thursday. 

The source at the ministry of interior (MoI) said that two sacks containing more than 15 kilograms of heroin and some 10 kilograms of marijuana had been hidden in the cotton field of the border jamoat Darakhti in Farkhor.  

The same day, some 3.5 kilograms of heroin were intercepted in Sughd’s Isfara district.  “The drugs were found in a car Daewoo belonging to local resident R.A.,” the source said.
