DUSHANBE, September 5, Asia-Plus — The first volume of the collection of works by Tajik-Persian classical poets entitled “Akhtaroni Adab” (Stars of Literature) has been brought out. 

This volume dedicated to the founder of Tajik-Persian classical literature Abuabdulloh Rudaki is entitled “Ash’ori Rudaki” (Poetry of Rudaki).  This book having a circulation of a 500 copies has been published at the Dushanbe printing-house Adib.  

In all, the collection will consist of 50 volumes consists, and a total cost of this project is more than 200,000 somonis, Mubashir Akbarzod, one of editors of the collection, said.  

According to him, another volumes of the collection are expected to be published in the near future.  

Since 2004, some 300,000 somonis have been provided the presidential reserve fund to the state-run printing house Adib for publishing the books of known Tajik writers and scholars.  This year, 500,000 somonis have been provided for this purpose.
