New garbage removal rates have been introduced in Dushanbe.  Beginning on May 1, the garbage removal rates in the Tajik capital rose on average 10 percent. 

New garbage removal rates in Dushanbe’s districts differ from each other depending on remoteness from the city dump.  

In Firdavsi district: new garbage removal rates are 3.60 somoni per each member of family for residents of apartment buildings having garbage disposal (previously 2.50 somoni); 2.50 somoni per each member of family for residents of residential buildings that do not have garbage disposal (2.10 somoni); 3.40 somoni per each member of family for residents of barrack houses (2.80 somoni); 3.60 for residents of private houses (3.00 somoni); 34.50 somoni per 1 m3 for federally funded institutions (27.00 somoni); and 45.54 per 1 m3 for  commercial organizations (39.00 somoni). 

In Shohmansour and Ismoili Somoni districts: new garbage removal rates are 2.90 somoni per each member of family for residents of apartment buildings having garbage disposal (previously 2.40 somoni); 2.40 somoni per each member of family for residents of residential buildings that do not have garbage disposal (2.00 somoni); 3.50 somoni per each member of family for residents of barrack houses (2.70 somoni); 3.30 for residents of private houses (2.90 somoni); 35.65 somoni per 1 m3 for federally funded institutions (23.00 somoni); and 44.40 per 1 m3 for  commercial organizations (27.00 somoni). 

In Sino district: new garbage removal rates are 3.20 somoni per each member of family for residents of apartment buildings having garbage disposal (previously 2.60 somoni); 2.40 somoni per each member of family for residents of residential buildings that do not have garbage disposal (2.20 somoni); 3.30 somoni per each member of family for residents of barrack houses (2.70 somoni); 3.30 for residents of private houses (3.10 somoni); 35.65 somoni per 1 m3 for federally funded institutions (27.00 somoni); and 44.40 per 1 m3 for  commercial organizations (39.00 somoni).
