Eight persons were injured on June 23 as a blast took place at the refueling station in the Yovon district of the Khatlon province, according to the Interior Ministry press center. 

The accident took place in afternoon when a gasoline tanker truck caught fire during fuel unloading.  The fire reportedly spread to the tanks with gasoline and liquefied natural gas (LNG).  As a result, the tank containing 10 tons of LNG exploded.  

As a result of the explosion, four employees of the refueling station and four employees of fire service, who came to extinguish the fire, sustained various injuries.
