It is not yet known whether Saudi Arabia will include Tajikistan in the list of countries whose citizens can perform the Little Hajj.

«Saudi Arabia has not yet published the list of countries whose citizens can go on a small Hajj, and only after the publication of the list it will become clear whether our citizens can also commit Umrah», – said the press secretary of the country's Religious Committee Afshin Mukim.

On September 23, the Saudi Arabian authorities gave permission to perform Hajj Umrah (Small Hajj) for foreign citizens from November 1.

According to Afshin Mukim, the conditions and rules for sending citizens on a small Hajj, taking into account the situation related to the coronavirus pandemic, have not yet been developed.

«Until November 1, there is still a month ahead. If Tajikistan is included in the list, then the conditions for organizing the pilgrimage will be determined by the Republican headquarters to counter the spread of coronavirus, as well as private companies that organize a small Hajj. ПIt is not yet known, but we hope that the Ministry of Health of Saudi Arabia will include Tajikistan in the list», – said Afshin Mukim.
