Tajik, Beijing agriculture universities sing cooperation agreement

DUSHANBE, April 10, Asia-Plus – Tajikistan’s Agriculture University and Beijing Agriculture University have signed a cooperation agreement.

Press release issued by the Tajik Embassy in Beijing said that Izatullo Safarov, rector of Tajik Agriculture University, Van Yunan (phonetically spelled), Rector of Beijing Agriculture University, inked the agreement in Beijing last week.  

Partnership between the two universities started one year ago, during the visit of group of representatives from the Beijing higher educational institution to Tajikistan. 

According to press release, the signed agreement will give a new impulse to expansion of partnership between the two higher educational institutions.  The agreement provides for training of personnel for Tajikistan’s agrarian sector and scientific cooperation between the two universities.
