DUSHANBE, December 25, Asia-Plus – On Friday December 22, President Emomali Rahmonov singed a number of laws adopted by the Majlisi Namoyandagon (Tajikistan’s lower chamber of parliament) and seconded by the Majlisi Milli (Tajikistan’s upper chamber of parliament) in November-December 2006, presidential press service said. 

According to presidential press service, among them are the RT Laws “On the State Material Reserve”, “On Protection of the Population against Tuberculosis” and “On Breastfeeding.”

The law on the state material reserves regulates general principles of organization, placing, keeping, use and processing of material resources, as well as relationships in this sphere.  The breastfeeding law was adopted in Tajikistan for the first time and it is aimed at protection of mother and child health.
