DUSHANBE, March 30, Asia-Plus — Tajikistan’s Chamber of Commerce and Trade (CCI) celebrated its 49th anniversary on March 30.
CCI was established in 1960 and the parliament adopted the law determining the legal status of the organization and expanding the outreach of its activities in 1998.
The Chamber of Commerce and Industry is now non-governmental and non-commercial organization dedicated to support development of entrepreneurship in the country and assist with seeking foreign investors. It has signed more than 180 cooperation agreements with chambers of commerce of the CIS states and other countries to this date.
Tajikistan’s chamber of Commerce and Industry currently groups more than 400 enterprises and organizations.
