DUSHANBE, March 31, 2009, Asia-Plus – The board (Shuro) of Tajikistan’s lower chamber (Majlisi Namoyandagon) of parliament considered a bill on banking activity at a March 30 meeting, presided over by its head, Saydullo Khairulloyev.
Muhammadato Sultonov, a spokesman for the Majlisi Namoyandagon, said that the board also considered amendments to the laws on holidays, the National Bank of Tajikistan, as well as the administrative and labor codes.
Some of these issues will be considered at a regular sitting the fifth session of the Majlisi Namoyandagon of the third convocation on April 1, Sultonov said.
