DUSHANBE, December 7, Asia-Plus – A Social Partnership Club at the Public Council of Tajikistan is holding a meeting today afternoon to discuss the results of a November 6 presidential election, Mavlon Mukhtorov, the Public Council secretary, said in an interview with Asia-Plus.  

“The meeting will be held in the office of Tajikistan’s Central Commission for Elections and Referenda (CCER),” Mukhtorov said, noting that representative from all political parties are expected to take part in the meeting’s work.

Meanwhile, Masoud Sobirov, who was recognized by the Ministry of Justice as leader the Democratic Party (DPT), told Asia-Plus that his party also recently joined the Public Council and will attend the meeting at the CCER.  He also stressed that they plan to establish their organizations in Qurghon Teppa, the capital of the Khatlon Province, Gorno Badakhshan and districts of Rasht Valley.
