DUSHANBE, December 7, Asia-Plus – A business meeting of representatives from Indian pharmaceutics with heads Tajik enterprises and organizations dealing with production and distribution of medicines is opening in Dushanbe today.

According to Tajikistan’s Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI), before the meeting representatives from Indian companies are meeting with Odil Sangov, the first deputy head of Tajik CCI to discuss cooperation issues.   

A source at the Tajik CCI said that Tajikistan’s Tajikpharmprominvest, Mehri Giyoh and other organizations will take part at the business meeting.  In all, more than 20 organizations dealing with production and distribution of medicines in Tajikistan have been invited to attend the meeting, according to the source.  

The meeting is aiming to consider issues related to expanding cooperation between Tajik and Indian pharmaceutical chemists and launch of joint ventures.
