DUSHANBE, March 19, 2009, Asia-Plus — A total capital of open joint-tock company (OJSC) Agroinvestbonk rose more than 56.1 percent in the year to February 28, 2009, reaching 159.4647 million somoni (TJS), according to Agroinvestbonk’s head office in Dushanbe.
As of February 29, 2008, the bank’s total capital had amounted to 98.922 million somoni.
Agroinvestbonk’s regulative capital has risen 51.4 percent over the report period, reaching 137.3763 million somoni. As of February 29, 2008, the regulative capital of Agroinvestbonk had amounted to 90.7373 million somoni.
Over the first two months of this year, physical entities have remitted 44.9696 million US dollars, more than 742.9832 million Russian rubles (RR) and more than 324,000 euros to Agroinvestbonk.
In the meantime, over the same two-month period, the bank has provided only little more than 61.344 million somoni in loans, which is three times fewer than in the same period of last year. In January-February 2008, Agroinvestbonk had provided 195.5929 million somoni in loans.
Founded in 1992, Agroinvestbonk, with headquarters in Dushanbe, has main branches in Khorog, Khujand, Kulob and Qurghon Teppa and 61 other branches across the republic.
