On September 9, two new sewing enterprises, “Sitorai Toj” and “Lider”, were commissioned in Khujand with the participation of Tajik President Emomali Rahmon.

The “Sitorai Toj” enterprise has the ability to annually produce up to 120 thousand sets of special clothing and uniforms and more than 1 million sets of knitted clothing, reports the press service of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan. The products are made of high-quality domestic and foreign fabrics.

The factory was built with the involvement of foreign investments, it provided jobs for 350 women and girls. The founder plans to increase the number of jobs and the volume of production 2-3 times in the future, depending on demand.

Another new company, “Lider”, has established the production of “JADID” brand denim trousers made of pure cotton.

“Since denim trousers and other cotton clothing have many buyers in the world, domestic entrepreneurs are striving to make domestic products with the logo “Made in Tajikistan” more presentable abroad by creating new enterprises and introducing modern technologies,” – the press service said.

In two shifts at this newly created enterprise work about 200 women, who are engaged in the cutting of denim fabrics and tailoring. “Lider” uses raw materials from domestic and foreign enterprises, and up to 800 pairs of trousers per day are manufactured using modern equipment installed at the factory. The company's products are fully export-oriented. Taking into account the demand, the founders of the company intend to increase production by almost two times.

The President also got acquainted with the activities of the Tajik-Korean sewing enterprise “Oriyon J Textile” and laid the foundation stone for the construction of its second stage.

The “Oriyon J Textile” company has become one of the largest sewing enterprises in Sughd region. It has established the production of trousers and suits, jeans, military uniforms and other types of clothing products of modern design and style.

The factory is equipped with modern machines and equipment, including sewing machines, embroidery, cutting equipment, computer technology, ironing equipment. The company's high-quality products already have many buyers abroad.

Currently, the company employs 500 local specialists. After the completion of the second stage of “Oriyon J Textile”, another 350 jobs will be created.

In Khujand, Rahmon launched the activities of the innovative enterprise “Samo”, built by the domestic entrepreneur Abdumanon Toshkhudzhaev.

About 60 types of electrical equipment are produced at “Samo”, including energy-saving LED lamps, LED spotlights, poles, equipment providing a certain current strength, video surveillance cameras, radio in national design and other types of import-substituting products.

The production capacity of the plant is 10 thousand units of various electrical equipment per year, meeting the requirements of international standards.

With the participation of the president were launched the activities of the “Saikhun” workshop for the production of chicken meat and sausage, created by entrepreneur Nozimjon Ismailov. The “Saikhun” company has a poultry farm in Bobojon Gafurov district, where 5 workshops operate, each of which is designed to keep 15 thousand chickens.

The production capacity of the workshop allows processing up to 420 tons of chicken meat per year. Modern industrial equipment purchased in advanced countries of the world has been installed for the cultivation and maintenance of chickens.

According to the State Unitary Enterprise “Sanoati Parandaparvari”, 145 poultry enterprises are currently operating in the region – 15 more than last year. Of these, 98 enterprises are engaged in the production of eggs, 47 enterprises are engaged in the production of poultry meat, 5 enterprises are engaged in the production of eggs and chicken meat, 2 enterprises are engaged in the production of eggs and day-old chickens.

In addition, the head of state commissioned the “Amid” trade and service center, built by the head of the company of the same name, the domestic entrepreneur Saidamon Isomaddinov; the new building of the medical department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Tajikistan in Sughd region, and also presented gifts to orphans.

On September 9, in Khujand, Emomali Rahmon took part and spoke at a festive event in honor of the 33rd anniversary of the state independence of Tajikistan.

A day earlier, the president visited the Asht district, where he also opened a number of enterprises and other facilities.
