According to information from Tajik border service, a joint operation by their troops and officers from the Panj directorate of the Security Ministry carried out in the border area of Tuqul in the Panj district on the night of June 11-12 led to the arrest of Afghan drug trafficker Karim valadi Najmiddin.  More than 19 kilograms of drugs, including 13 kilograms of heroin, 3 kilograms of raw opium and more than 4 kilograms of cannabis, were confiscated from him, according to the source.  

An investigation is under way.
