DUSAHNBE, June 9, Asia-Plus — Samad Kholiqov, Deputy Chairman of Tajikistan’s Committee for TV and Radio-broadcasting , has said in his interview with Asia-Plus that Tajik soccer fans will be able to watch an official ceremony of opening of the World Cup 2006 in Munich and two games between Germany and Costa Rica and between Poland and Ecuador on Tajik national TV. 

According to him, Tajik Committee for TV and Radio-broadcasting and Iranian TV and Iranian State TV and Radio have concluded an agreement on live television coverage of the World Cup 2006 for Tajikistan.  At the same time, Samad Kholiqov has refrained from giving financial details of the agreement   

“In connection with the Football World Cup a grid of programs on Tajik national TV will change,” Mr. Kholiqov said, noting that Tajik viewers will be able to watch all 64 games.
