The National Bank of Tajikistan (NBT) has announced the sale of commemorative and jubilee silver coins. These coins are available for purchase at NBT cash service points and regional branches, as stated on the bank's official website.

According to the NBT, the coins are dedicated to significant historical events in the country and anniversaries of prominent figures in Tajik-Persian literature.

Among the coins available are:

·         600th Anniversary of Abdurahmon Jomi

·         700th Anniversary of Mir Sayyid Ali Hamadoni

·         20th Anniversary of the Constitution of the Republic of Tajikistan

·         90th Anniversary of Dushanbe City

·         5500th Anniversary of Sarazm

·         3000th Anniversary of Hisor

·         Olympic Games

·         20th Anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan

·         10th Anniversary of the Eurasian Economic Union

·         Launch of the Roghun Hydropower Plant

Historical overview of NBT's coin releases

The National Bank of Tajikistan has been issuing rare coins for sale for many years.

·         2004: The first silver coins (denomination: 3 somonis) were issued to commemorate the 80th anniversary of Dushanbe city and the 10th anniversary of the adoption of the Constitution of the Republic of Tajikistan.

·         2006: Jubilee silver coins (denomination: 3 somonis) celebrated the 15th anniversary of Tajikistan's independence, the 2700th anniversary of Kulob, and the Year of Aryan Civilization (denomination: 1 somoni).

·         2007: Silver coins were minted to honor the 800th anniversary of the great poet Jaloliddin Rumi.

·         2008: Coins celebrated the 1150th anniversary of Roudaki, the founder of Persian literature.
