DUSHANBE, May 23, Asia-Plus — Mahmadsaid Ubaidulloyev, Chairman of the Majlisi Milli (Tajikistan’s upper chamber of parliament) will take part at the first meeting of parliament heads from member nations of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) that will be held in Moscow on May 30.  

According to information from Tajik parliament, the SCO parliament speakers’ meeting in Moscow will consider a program of the agenda of the jubilee summit of the Organization that will be held in Shanghai on June 15 this year.   On the sidelines of the SCO parliamentary meeting in Moscow, Mr. Ubaidulloyev is supposed to hold a number of meetings with his counterparts from other member nations of the SCO.    

Speakers of parliaments of the SCO nations will pay serious attention to harmonization of laws that will facilitate removing obstacles on the way of further expansion of cooperation and development of business.  The main purpose of the meeting in Moscow will be providing legal foundation of agreements that are working within the framework of the SCO.  It is expected that a special group of experts will be set up for solving these issues.
