, May 11, Asia-Plus – A state ensemble of folk music “Shashmaqom” established at the State Committee for TV and Radio-broadcasting will be 6 tomorrow.  

On this occasion, a concert dedicated to the sixth anniversary of the ensemble will be held at the “Kokhi Jomi” Complex in


Dushanbe


on May 12.  

Mr. Zinatulo Ismoilov, deputy head of the “Kokhi Jomi” Complex, has told Asia-Plus that the event is also timed to coincide with a Day of National Culture of Tajikistan, which is marked on May 12.  

Known performers of “Shashmaqom” from Khujand, Istaravshan, Isfara, and Tursunzoda also will take part in this concert.
