Representatives of Eskhata Bank took part in a regional training event titled "Guidance for Working with the Women Entrepreneur Market: Developing a Strategy for Women-Led MSMEs," held in the Uzbek city of Samarkand from November 18 to 20.

According to press release issued by Eskhata Bank, the event was organized by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) in collaboration with the Financial Alliance for Women, and focused on creating effective strategies to support micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises led by women.

During the three-day training, participants learned about modern approaches to building sustainable business models, financial inclusion tools, and mechanisms for expanding the economic opportunities of women entrepreneurs.

The event was attended by representatives of financial organizations from Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Mongolia, and other countries, providing a unique platform for experience exchange and regional cooperation.

“We are confident that the knowledge gained will lay the foundation for new programs and initiatives aimed at supporting women in Tajikistan,” said Ms. Muborakkhon Ahorova, Manager for the Development of Women and Youth Entrepreneurship Lending at Eskhata Bank.

Participation in the training reportedly marked an important step in strengthening Eskhata Bank's contribution to the development of women’s entrepreneurship, introducing innovative solutions, and creating new opportunities for women business owners in the region.

The training was conducted as part of the implementation of the "Women Entrepreneurs Financing Code" (WE Finance Code), signed at the Central Asian Financial Summit.

Eskhata Bank reportedly continues to invest in the potential and development of opportunities for women.
