According to data from the Agency for Statistics under the President of Tajikistan, the country produced over 882,000 tons of fruit over the first eleven months of this year, exceeding the projected 860,000 tons by 14.8%. This increase marks a significant boost compared to the same period last year.

Among the total production, apricots and apples accounted for around 72%. These fruits remain the dominant crops in Tajikistan’s horticulture sector.

Apricots have emerged as one of the most productive crops, reaching 348,000 tons, a 24.2% increase from the previous year. Apricots make up a significant portion of the total fruit production, with 63.5% contributed by farmers, 25.1% by the general population, and 11.4% by public enterprises.

Apples also showed impressive growth, reaching 286,300 tons, which is a 17.2% rise compared to 2024. In apple production, farmers hold the largest share at 41.6%, followed closely by the general population at 46.7%, while public enterprises account for 11.7% of the total.

Notably, grape production reached around 326,000 tons from January to November 2025, marking a 21.5% increase over 2024. The forecast had been 318,000 tons. In the grape sector, the majority of production, 50.4%, comes from farming households, while the general population and public enterprises account for 42.9% and 6.7%, respectively.

Overall, the gross agricultural output for January to November 2025 totaled 76.5 billion somonis, reflecting a 9.2% increase in comparable prices compared to the same period in 2024. Of this total, 53.2 billion somonis came from crop production, while livestock production contributed 23.3 billion somonis.
