Uzbekistan
the
Dushanbe
gas concern “Dushanbegaz” has reduced a gas rationing that has already been introduced in the city by two hours more.
Mansur Sharipov, acting director of the “Dushanbegaz” enterprise, has told Asia-Plus that the new rationing having been effective since the beginning of the week and lasting through the end of the week resulted in the supply of daily natural gas having been reduced to six hours – three hours of natural gas in the morning (from 5:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m.) and three in the evening (5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.).
According to him, the move has also stemmed from a large debt of the public to the enterprise. “Today we continue cutting off supply of gas to those who have large debts,” Mr. Sharipov said. To date, a total debt of the public to the “Dushanbegaz” enterprise has amounted to 17 million Somonis, according to him.
