, February 24, Asia-Plus – Festive celebrations to mark the Fatherland Defender’s Days will be held on the
territory
of
Russian Military Base Headquarters
today.
Pavel Konev, aide to the military base commander, has told Asia-Plus that the events will start with laying wreath at the monument of the division’s servicemen, who died in actions.
After that, a ceremonial formation will be held and the military base commander, Colonel Aleksei Zavizyon, will congratulate the servicemen on the occasion of their professional holiday.
Russian Ambassador to Tajikistan Ramazan Abdulatipov as well as senior representatives from the Tajik Ministry of Defense also will attend the celebrations to mark this holiday.
