, April 17, Asia-Plus – Goods produced in member nations of the Eurasian Economic Community (EAEC) will have a common trademark of circulation.
According to information from the Ministry of Economy and Trade, the Integration Committee of the EAEC, an economic club of former Soviet republics seeking to establish a single economic zone comprising
Russia
,
Kazakhstan
,
Kyrgyzstan
, and
Belarus
, considered a draft agreement on using the common mark on the market of the EAEC countries on April 14.
Farrukh Soliyev, an official with the Ministry of Economy and Trade, says it will allow easing movement and realization of goods on the Community’s markets.
Use of the common mark of output will certify that an output meet requirements of standards of the Community.
According to the source, it was decided to submit this document for signing to a meeting of heads of state from the EAEC countries that will be held in
Minsk
on May 19.
The Community’s integration committee also considered some other draft agreements related to encouraging and protection investments, and creating common market of oil and gas, and discussed a progress of work on unification of customs laws and simplification of movement of goods, cargoes and citizens via borders of the EAEC countries.
The source says of these draft agreements, only the draft agreement on the mooted common oil-and-gas market was not endorsed. “The issue was returned to member nations’ experts for adjustment,” Farrukh Soliyev said.
