has amounted to 3.4 percent, according to figures provided by

’s State Committee for Statistics.

The Committee for Statistics says that basic food products prices have risen by 4.4 percent and prices and rates for paid services rendered to the population have risen on average by 3.8 percent since the beginning of the year.  

The cost of the set of food products included in the consumer basket for actual consumption (based on figures from households studied during January-March this year) in prices as of the end of March 2006 has been 45.47 Somonis per one family member per month, and with the norm for a balanced diet it has been 94.79 Somonis. 

Non-foodstuffs rose in cost by 0.6 percent during March.

In 2005, inflation rate amounted to 7.1 percent.
