DUSHANBE, November 4, 2010, Asia-Plus – More than 4000 citizens and visitors of Tajikistan’s capital will take part in main event dedicated to Tajikistan’s National Flag Day. The event will be organized by the Dushanbe Mayor’s Office and will be held on November 24 on the Moscow 800th anniversary square.

Dushanbe authorities also recommend all organizations irrespective of forms of property to decorate their offices, a spokesman for the Dushanbe Mayor Shavkat Saidov told the AP.

“That day all forms of public transport will be provided with Tajikistan’s national flag while drivers will be provided with special badges,” he said.

According to the Dushanbe Mayor’s decree, mass public campaigns and concerts will take place in parks and concert halls. This year Tajikistan will celebrate its national flag day for the second time. Tajikistan’s National Flag Day is celebrated on November 24.
