DUSHANBE, October 4, 2010, Asia-Plus  – The 6th congress of oncologists from the CIS nations is concluding in Dushanbe today.

That congress that kicked off on October 1 has brought together more than 300 oncologists, among them are 100 academicians, professors and cancer center heads from all member nations of the CIS, to discuss problems and prospects of development of modern oncology and new methods of treatment  of cancer diseases, according to the Ministry of Health (MoH).

Leading cancer specialists from the United States, Japan, Sweden, Italy, the Czech Republic and some other countries have also been attending at the congress.

An exhibition of works by leading cancer specialists and new developments in oncology has been organized on sidelines of the congress.
