DUSHANBE, September 2, 2010, Asia-Plus  — On Wednesday September 1, Minister of Economic Development and Trade Farrukh Hamraliyev met with Indian Ambassador to Tajikistan Asith Kumar Bhattacharjee.

The source at the Ministry of economic Development and Trade (MEDT) says the two discussed a broad range of issues related to state and prospects of further expansion of trade and economic cooperation between Tajikistan and India.

Bilateral cooperation between the two countries in trade and agrarian sector as well as support for development of private entrepreneurship in Tajikistan were among major topics of the meeting.

Tajik minister stressed that all necessary conditions had been created in Tajikistan for attraction and protection of foreign investments.

Indian diplomat, for his part, noted that mutual wish and tendency could bring bilateral trade and economic cooperation between the two countries to higher level, the source said.
