DUSHANBE, August 30, 2010, Asia-Plus  — President Emomali Rahmon, who is currently on his working visit to central Tajikistan, has attended a ceremony of opening of a new school in Hissar district today, according to presidential press service.

The construction of school # 24 began in Hissar began in 1989 but it was suspended in 1993 due to the civil war.  Some 7 million somoni have been allocated by the government to finish the school, the press services said.
