Kulob builders draw more than 20.5 mln somoni of allocated funds in H1 2010

KULOB, July 12, 2010, Asia-Plus  — Over the first six months of this year, Kulob builders have drawn 20.5467 million somoni of allocated funds for construction of 117 facilities; the majority of them are still under construction, the Kulob chief architect Ozod Hasanov said in an interview with Asia-Plus.

Among the facilities under construction, seven are industrial enterprises, five are education facilities, six are medical facilities, two are cultural facilities, 13 are consumer services centers and 53 are shopping centers and stores.

“The ministries and departments have allocated 9.5621 million somoni, private entrepreneurs have allocated 5.316 million somoni, and private developers have allocated 2.753 million somoni for individual housing construction,” said Hasanov, “Besides, the Khatlon regional budget has allocated 544,300 somoni, the Kulob city budget allocated 426,100 somoni, and the volume of foreign investments has amounted to 1.2547 million somoni.”
