DUSHANBE, April 12, 2010, Asia-Plus  — To simplify export/import and transit procedures on the territory of Tajikistan the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade (MEDT) has worked out a draft resolution on the implementation of “One-stop-shop” (OSS) principle when state registration of enterprises and entrepreneurs, Askar Nouraliyev, the deputy head of the MEDT marketing and trade activity regulation directorate, said in an interview with Asia-Plus.

.According to him, the draft resolution has already been endorsed by relevant ministries and department and submitted for consideration to the government.

“The findings of analysis of the country’s permit procedures for import/export and transit operations have shown that the system requires simplification,” said Nouraliyev, “It is necessary to improve technological and communicative features between different ministries and agencies.  Entrepreneurs are currently losing from three to twenty days to get necessary documents in several agencies, while the implementation of the OSS principle will allow completing permit documents through e-mail in one of the governmental agencies.”
