KHUJAND, February 8, 2010, Asia-Plus — 538 crimes were committed by women in the Sughd province last year, according to the Sughd committee for family and women’s affairs.
A totaled included 5 deliberate killings, 106 murders committed in a fit of strong emotions, 72 thefts, 199 fraud cases, 12 drug-related crimes, 21 cases of maintaining of a house of prostitution, etc, the source said.
