KULOB, December 7, 2009, Asia-Plus  — Staff members of the Kulob house management unit have decided to give up their one-day’s wages to help construction of the Roghun hydroelectricity power plant (HPP).

The unit head Botourkhon Rahmatov told Asia-Plus today that all 80 staff members of the unit have unanimously voted for that and some of them have expressed wish to buy shares in Roghun.

Fakhriddin Rustamv, the head of the branch of the state unitary enterprise for sale of state-owned property in Kulob, said that their staff members had transferred 50 somoni each to help Roghun’s construction.
