KULOB, October 8, 209, Asia-Plus — Over the first nine months of this year, tax officers of the city of Kulob have transferred a total of 11,614,608 somoni (TJS) to the republican and city budgets, which is 400,000 somoni more than it was originally planned, the Kulob tax inspectorate chief Saidislom Ismoilov said in an interview with Asia-Plus.
According to him, they have also successfully fulfilled the target of collection of fees to the fund of social protection of the population for the report period. “In January-August this year, 8,272,292 somoni have been transferred to the pension fund, which is 378,000 more than it was originally planned,” Ismoilov said.
At the same time, he noted that it has becoming more and more problematic to collect taxes. “Over the same nine-month period, we have been forced to send materials of 42 the most incorrigible nonpayers to prosecutor’s offices and courts,” the tax inspectorate chief said.
