DUSHANBE, January 31, 2009, Asia-Plus  — By government’s resolution of January 29 Sharif Isoyev, formerly head of the safety engineering department within Barqi Tojik power holding, was appointed as deputy head of Barqi Tojik, according to the Barqi Tojik press service.

Besides, by Barqi Tojik head’s order of January 30 Odinamamad Chorshanbiyev, who had previously been deputy head of the central control service within Barqi Tojik, was appointed to head the service.

We will recall that by government’ s resolution of January 19 Sanat Rahimov, formerly executive director of the energy projects management unit, was appointed to head Barqi Tojik power holding, replacing Sharifkhon Samiyev.  As it had been reported earlier, the president sacked the Barqi Tojik head Sharifkhon Samiyev on January 15 for serious shortcomings in his work.  Besides, all six deputy heads of the power holding were also dismissed by government’s resolution.
