KONIBODOM, August 20, 2009, Asia-Plus — The first private heath center has been opened in the northern city of Konibodom.
The center was established by local entrepreneur Ilhomkhon Khalilov. Khalilov told Asia-Plus that opening of the center had provided 20 people with jobs and local residents had got access to proper diagnostic examination and treatment with use of modern medical equipment.
“The center can handle up to 50-60 visits per shift,” said Khalilov, “In the future, we plan to conclude contracts with leading medical specialists from the province and the country for medical treatment consultations.”
Next year, they plan to establish the in-patient department with a total of 20 beds, according to Khalilov.
