KHUJAND, August 20, 2009, Asia-Plus  — A health center, Nour (Light), in Khujand has received modern equipment for treating kidney and urologic diseases.

The Nour director Odil Qobilov told Asia-Plus that they had received lithotripter (a stone crushing machine used to shatter kidney stones and gallstones) and endurological equipment for operating in prostate adenoma.

“Besides, the center has purchased bionalysit for determining 18 parameters of blood and endosurgical equipment,” Qobilov said, noting that MR-imaging unit as well as equipment for X-ray examination of cardiovascular system would be delivered to the center in the near future.

The health center, Nour, was established in June 2002.
