DUSHANBE, July 7, 2009, Asia-Plus  — The research and consultative center has been set up at the Constitutional Court of Tajikistan.

The center is an advisory body that will be engaged in working out science-based recommendations on issues related to making work of the Constitutional Court more efficient and practice of application of the law on the Constitutional Court, the source at the Constitutional Court said.

The center has a staff of 17, including known Tajik lawyers and retired skilled judges of the Constitutional Court.  The first meeting of the center was held in Dushanbe on July 6.
