DUSHANBE, July 6, Asia-Plus  — A group of Tajiks living in Moscow have established a charitable foundation for protection of motherhood and childhood, entitled “Dargil Nanik” (Mom, Find Me), Muhammad Egamzod, the head of the Moscow-based media holding, Tajinfo, said in an interview with Asia-Plus.

The foundation was established by Memonsho Memonshoyev, Rusht Rushtov and Madina Yuldosheva and among its trustees are Ergash, Yuldoshev, Sobir Butabekov, Bakhtiyor Khudoinazarov, Sergey Akopov, Irina Rozanova, Yulia Khizhnyak and others.

According to Egamzod, the main objective of the foundation is “in forming property due to voluntary donations and other receipts for ensuring social and financial support for poor people, single mothers having several children, pregnant women, orphaned children, disabled and elderly people who don’t have relatives to support, irrespective of their nationality and religion.

“The charity is carrying out an active information work on orphaned children held in orphanages as well as providing assistance to vulnerable large families and vulnerable families of migrants from Central Asia.  The foundation also provides assistance with getting quotas for treatment of children at Moscow hospitals as well as shoots feature films and documentaries about orphaned children and vulnerable families, role of mother and child in society,” Egamzod.
